I was sitting in my room a couple of mornings ago watching Sesame Street with my two year old. All of a sudden on the tube was a little black muppet girl singing a song about loving her hair. I was so proud to see this. My daughter looked at me then looked at the screen and started dancing and shaking her hair, saying I love my hair too Mommy. I sure needed this when I was a little girl. Maybe kids and adults alike may appreciate their natural hair now. What great inspiration! Kudos to Sesame Street. Check it out.
